One of the LAGBPSC's central aims is to support its postgraduate linguist members in their pursuit of jobs, academic or otherwise, after their PhD.

In 2024-25, we're delighted to announce a virtual talk series, aimed specifically at postgraduate students in linguistics, on the subject of getting a job after study. These are being coordinated with by Anna-Marie Trester, the creator of Career Linguist, a community and resource hub for career-oriented linguists.
